Commissioned by James and Yoshie Ochiai-Brown for their dining room, this wall hanging is hand decorated with the Yuzen technique, and embroidered with gold thread.
It was once a formal Tomesode Kimono but now, resplendent with bespoke hand made rails it looks stunning every day.
It depicts Noshi bundles, which consist of white paper folded with auspicious designs, considered a token of good fortune and express “good wishes”.
